Every diamond in the Heritage Collection is personally chosen by Sam and Adam Matthews, the third generation of our family business. With direct access to trusted diamond cutters, they examine a great many stones to find the right balance of brilliance, quality and value for each ring.
It's this hands-on selection that turns a beautiful ring into an exceptional one.

Thoughtful design and quality are central to everything we do. Each Heritage ring draws on our family's experience since 1957: refined design, everyday elegance and enduring quality.
Our jewellers and design team work closely together on every detail. We use high-quality precious metals and work with trusted local and international suppliers we've known for years, including diamond suppliers who adhere to the Kimberley Process.
Creating your Heritage ring
01 Consultation
Meet us in store or by virtual appointment. We'll talk through settings, diamond shapes and the 4Cs, get to know you, and give you an initial pricing guide. In store, there's a coffee or a glass of bubbles waiting.
02 Diamond selection
We hand-pick at least three natural diamonds to suit your story and budget, then review each one with you, explaining why it was chosen and how they compare on price.
03 Design and crafting
We create a 3D CAD design around your diamond. Once you approve it, our jewellers craft your ring and set your diamond.
04 Presentation
See your finished ring in store. If you live away, we'll send you a video before it leaves us, with complimentary insured delivery Australia-wide, signature on arrival.
Heritage Collection questions
How long does the design process take?
Around 8 weeks from order to completion, so every detail of your ring is right. If you have a date in mind, our priority service ($500) completes most rings in about 4 weeks.
Is there an extra cost for the design process?
There's no extra charge if you go ahead. To see a 3D CAD render, place your order with a 50% deposit, or pay a $250 design fee that's credited in full if you go ahead.
What makes natural diamonds unique?
Natural diamonds formed deep within the earth over billions of years, so every stone carries its own history and character. That rarity and story is what the Heritage Collection celebrates.
Where do your natural diamonds come from?
We work with suppliers who adhere to the Kimberley Process. We've worked with many of the same diamond cutters and merchants for years.
What are the 4Cs?
Cut, clarity, colour and carat are the four factors that determine a diamond's quality and value. We'll guide you through each so you can choose a diamond that balances beauty and budget.
How is a natural diamond different from a lab grown diamond?
Both are real diamonds with the same chemical and physical properties. A natural diamond formed in the earth over billions of years; a lab grown diamond is created using technology that replicates those conditions. The difference is origin, rarity and price. How do I care for my Heritage ring?
Regular cleaning and professional checks keep your diamond bright and your setting secure. Heritage rings are covered by our Lifetime Care Guarantee, with complimentary cleaning, resizing, rhodium plating for white gold every 18–24 months and annual inspections for pieces of $2,000 or more.
